An Annual Audit
Each year, a BICSc auditor travels from the UK to rigorously evaluate Derrycourt’s in-house training centre, review our documentation, and assess the skills of our trainers and assessors. This thorough assessment ensures that our training—and every staff member we train—meets BICSc’s stringent standards.
While having a state-of-the-art training centre and well-trained employees is vital, it is equally crucial that those responsible for training our staff are not only competent but also thoroughly trained and up-to-date on best practices. This ensures that the highest standards are consistently upheld, from the training centre to the workplace.

Derrycourt’s BICSc Trainers
We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of Ivan, and Janette (representing various sites), as well as Leah, and Anna, our Learning and Development Manager who have recently completed their BICSc Accredited Trainer qualifications. Their success is a testament to their dedication and expertise, and it strengthens our overall training capabilities.
The BICSc Trainers course is a rigorous programme designed to empower trainers to pass on their knowledge effectively. Candidates are required to hold a valid Licence to Practice and demonstrate proficiency in at least three BICSc skills. This qualification allows them to independently assess and certify others, ensuring that the training provided is both comprehensive and practical.

We are especially proud to announce that several members of our team have recently been accredited as BICSc Assessors. Daniela, Alin, and Leo, representing various sites, have demonstrated remarkable dedication and skill in achieving this recognition.Â
Additionally, Sandra and our lead BICSc Assessor, Aida have successfully maintained their Assessor accreditation, showcasing their ongoing commitment to excellence.
