Celebrating Outstanding Contributions
Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists, a name synonymous with excellence in the cleaning industry, hosted the 2024 Derrycourt Annual Awards on 13th September 2024 at the Crowne Plaza, Santry. This special event was held to recognise and celebrate the individuals and teams whose exceptional contributions have driven our success over the past year. The evening provided a wonderful opportunity to honour those who consistently go above and beyond, embodying our core values of making workplaces safer, cleaner, and healthier.
An Expanding Celebration
The Awards ceremony was a highlight of the year, recognising the achievements, nominations, and successes of our employees, alongside celebrating the 2024 Derrycourt Employees of the Month.
This year’s event was our biggest yet, with 194 attendees gathered to celebrate. We were proud to present 29 awards, and received nearly 500 nominations—25% more than the previous year. The overwhelming feedback from clients, colleagues, and managers reflects the remarkable dedication and hard work of our staff across the country.
The night was filled with energy and celebration, as employees from all over Ireland came together to acknowledge the efforts of their colleagues and long-serving staff members. The celebration was filled with joy and camaraderie as we honoured those whose dedication and excellence continue to set the standard, maintaining Derrycourt’s place as a leader in the cleaning industry.

Sustainability Focus
This year, we proudly took steps to make our awards night more sustainable, reflecting Derrycourt’s commitment to reducing our environmental impact. In line with our sustainability goals, we partnered with a sustainable supplier to source the award plaques. This supplier will ensure a Ficus vasta tree is planted, to offset the delivery and production of the award plaques, as part of a reforestation project in Jabi-Tehnan, Ethiopia. These trees are vital to ecosystem restoration, helping to rejuvenate areas in need of environmental regeneration.

We will continue to find innovative ways in our day-to-day business to reduce our carbon footprint while contributing to a healthier planet and improved well-being for communities worldwide.
